Born in the United Kingdom in the North West city of Liverpool. I am married and a parent of my 4-year old son, Jevin who will be joining AGS in Year 1. I actually married my beautiful wife Mala in the luxurious city of Dubai where we both worked at the time, so we both have a great connection with the Middle East Region.
I began my illustrious career over 25 years ago in professional football, coaching and lecturing at a host of world-renowned Premier League Football Clubs in the UK and overseas. After several years teaching all aspects of physiology, sports science, fitness, nutrition, biomechanics, and peak performance to professional athletes, I redirected my experience and knowledge in the education sector mentoring primary and secondary teachers throughout the UK in the aspects of curriculum development. I subsequently lectured in over 100 education institutions including Universities, Primary and Secondary Schools, and on UK National TV.
In 2009, I partnered with the UK local education authority to set up an Education institution for disengaged and special education needs students. Furthermore, in 2011, I continued in senior management teaching overseas in the Middle East, at Cairo English School being appointed as the Chairman of 10 international schools. My passion for education then drew me to China, whereby I was appointed as Deputy Principal at Shanghai United International School, and then Nanwai Kings College respectively, two large world-renowned and respected international institutions.
The appointment as the School Principal for AGS is an honor and an exciting one for me. The vision to improve on the strong foundations and take AGS to the next level of educational teaching and learning excellence is one that will drive me to ensure we fulfill the potential of each and every student at AGS.
I look forward to new and exciting times working at AGS in the near future.
